  • How do I know I have damage covered by my homeowner’s insurance?

Answer:  Keith can inspect your roof for any weather-related damage covered under your homeowner’s insurance policy.  Once he’s inspected your roof, Keith will help you determine if it would be to your advantage to file a claim.

  • Why does my insurance company withhold depreciation amount?

Answer:  If you have replacement cost coverage under your homeowners' HO3 policy, in most cases, the insurance payment will be made in two separate payments.

    • The first payment is the total amount of the claim, less depreciation, less the policy deductible.
    • The second payment is the refundable hold back depreciation which is payable upon job completion of your roof.
  • What if the damage is more than what the insurance company shows the estimate?

Answer: The process starts with a supplemental estimate of additional damages that may have been left out or was not known at the time of the original estimate by the original insurance adjuster.  Should this situation arise, Keith will discuss the potential options for other methods of resolution.

  • How do I know how the insurance process works and when do I need to file a claim?

Answer: Call Keith to schedule a free roof inspection; he will advise you on your options and work with you through the process every step of the way.
